Baby Chloe

 

Baby Chloe arrived today. Chloe Jessica Cross was born July 31st at 12:16 pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long. She is resting comfortably along with Mommy. As you can see, she is a beautiful little girl.

Summer Fun

 

2 weeks til 2 Girls

We are now in the home stretch and Baby #2 (yet to be named) is just about ready to make her appearance. Laura is set to give birth at 11:00am, July 31st via C-Section. Mommy is still hoping she'll make her appearance a bit early :-)

New Lens

My birthday present finally arrived 2 weeks late. Laura got me the Tamron 28-75 for my Pentax and we had to go out and give it a try. Caitlyn had a great time going down the slide and wiping out at the bottom. Dad had a great time with the new lens.

Happy Fourth of July

We headed down to the Woodstock Fourth of July parade and ran into Abe Lincoln. He wanted to wish everyone a happy fourth of july and tell everyone to remember to vote Republican.

Caitlyn's Three

Happy Birthday to Caitlyn!
On Sunday, Caitlyn turned three. We had a great time at the pool and Caitlyn got lots of great things. Wait till you see her new convertible car.

Civil War

Caitlyn and I headed out to Kennesaw Mountain today for the annual "Battle Anniversary Weekend" The guys put on quite a show with Infantry, Artillery, & Calvary demonstrations. Caitlyn liked the cannons the best. Scared her to death the first time, but then she was getting into it. "BOOM!"

Speed Racer

Caitlyn had her first chance to ride a go kart when we were down in Panama City for Memorial Day. Trust me when I tell you these cars could move. We were flying around the track for 5 minutes and I don't think Caitlyn stopped smiling once. She had her hands on the steering wheel and kept yelling "Faster, Daddy, Faster"

Dance Time

This weekend was Caitlyn's second dance recital. Here she is dancing to Julie Andrew's "Favorite things" I don't think she was doing the right step here, but you can see that she was the star of the show. Look at the form with her toe extended!

Chattanooga

We took a family trip up to Chattanooga for a little getaway. We had a great time at the Aquarium, the Children's Museum and even got to see Thomas the Train.

Easter photos

Caitlyn and I headed out to get some late afternoon pictures in the backyard. In this one, she was heading back to get her hat and go see her friend Cooper.

Spring was in the air in Atlanta this weekend. We had a great time playing in the Sprinklers and getting some planting done.

Caitlyn joined her good friends Maddy & Lukey on the tire swing. As you can see a good time was had by all.

Happy Easter

The Hunt...

45 Degrees. 15 mile per hours winds.
Not your typical Easter in Atlanta, but Caitlyn had a great time hunting down some Easter eggs with her friends. As you can see, she needed to bundle up, but we managed to stay warm and find 15 eggs loaded with "treats"

Daddy & Caitlyn had fun with our new Easter glasses. We took a visit to the mall and ran into the Easter Bunny. check back on Sunday for that picture. One of the best pictures yet!

Easter's coming...

Mommy and Caitlyn decorated some eggs today in preparation for the arrival of the Easter Bunny. Things went much smoother this year than last. Caitlyn's favorite egg was this pink one. you can see how proud she is. We've got an Easter Egg hunt scheduled for Saturday. Check back for those pictures and an update on her hunting skills

The Final Four is in Atlanta and the Gators are in the Final Four. We headed downtown yesterday to enjoy the festivities and enjoyed a Gator victory over UCLA. Here's a sampling of the day...
