A belated Happy Thanksgiving

I missed out on Thanksgiving wishes this year since we were down in Florida for the week. I have lots of pictures to post. Most show our two little ladies having great fun at the beach. Here's Chloe enjoying the slightly cool morning down in Daytona.

Halloween Washout

Halloween 2009 will be remembered by one thing: Rain. It was 58 degrees and raining for our annual neighborhood trick or treating. As a result the pictures were really at a minimum. Here's a shot of Chloe as Minnie Mouse. We had to add pants and a shirt underneath to keep her warm, Her whiskers are smudged off, and her hair is still wet. But you know what, she loved it. We went to the first house to get some candy and she was invited to take a piece of candy. She carefully looked over the bowl, selected some skittles and put them in her bag. Right after that she looked at me and explained "I did it!". By the end of the night she was a professional.

Happy Halloween

Laura and I headed out last night for an adult halloween party. Laura went as Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, and I went as the Swine Flu. Hope you all have a great halloween and check back tomorrow for pics of the girls.

Pick a Pumpkin

Caitlyn and Chloe went through the whole patch today to try and find the perfect pumpkin. Judging by their smiles, I think We're all winners.

Football 101

I was watching a football game with Caitlyn this weekend and tried to explain the game to her. I told her the white team was trying to carry the ball to the other end of the field. Caitlyn said "They do that because if the other team gets the ball they will take it and hide it somewhere that the other team can't find it." Needless to say, We're going to have to watch a little more football before it all sinks in. Hopefully, Georgia doesn't run off and hide the football in this weekend's game versus the Gators.

Flood of 2009

It's been raining here for the past few weeks and it finally got to flood stage yesterday. My normal commute is about an hour and it took me over 5 hours to get home after they close I-575 and I had to detour all around northwest Georgia. The good news is that I was able to head up the street and get this picture of an old mill by our house. That is usually a little creek that runs by, but it was quite the river today.

Flamenco Girls

Back in April, Mommy and Daddy were lucky enough to visit Barcelona. While shopping on Las Ramblas we saw these little flamenco dresses and decided the girls would love them. They put them on last week and had quite a little dance party.

Time for football

It's finally time for college football. Daddy, Caitlyn & Chloe spent the day watching the games, ending with a big 62-3 Gator win. We're all ready for another big year for the Gators!
