Caitlyn's Prayer

Each night Caitlyn says her Prayers. We always start with "Now I lay me down to sleep...." and we let her finish with whatever she likes to pray about. Each night is usually the same, but tonight she asked if she could pray for other people. We've been learning more about Heaven and explaining that's where people go when they die. So Caitlyn decided to add in, "Dear Lord, I want to pray for all the dead people and I hope they feel better. In Jesus name, Amen!" So all you dead people, cheer up and feel better.

Chloe's first haircut

Chloe finally got her hair cut today. She went to the same place Caitlyn did for her first cut.

Sleepover

Caitlyn had her first "hosted" sleepover last night. She invited Maddy over to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua and then spend the night. Everything went surprisingly smooth and they didn't get up until 7:30. We were afraid it would be a lot worse :-) We followed that up with a trip to our local bagel shop where the two of them couldn't stop giggling.

The hits

I was poking around the blog today and just for kicks I pulled up a list of all the visits We've had since launching in 2007. The total was 1,748 visits. Of these 1,593 came from the US. Georgia was the state leader by a mile. Could be because that's where both Grandmother's live. You think?

Pet Shops

Caitlyn and her best friend Maddy spent the day playing with their "Pet Shops" on the playset in the backyard. you can see them lined up and they were busy making trades. Caitlyn got a great deal when she swapped out the pink bunny for the horse with a cowboy hat.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

OK, OK, I'm a day late....
We had a great late afternoon party. Even managed to bring out the little pool and enjoy the 75 degree weather. Here, caitlyn shows off her St. Patty's day jig..

Chloe really, really needs her first haircut. But every time we're ready to do it, We see her looking like this. How could we cut all that off?

Caitlyn and Chloe took time out to take a little stroll last weekend.

Baby, Baby!

Here is Chloe's pride and joy. Her Baby! She loves to have Baby close by and when she's not there, We will hear "Baby..Baby...Baby.." often followed by outstretched arms, palms turned upward and a "Whereisit?" (Where is it). The funny thing is that Baby Snow White was one of Caitlyn's presents. We had to buy Caitlyn a Baby Cinderella and ask her to give this one up. Luckily, She's a great big sister and happily agreed.

Came across this picture while looking through some from last year. I love this picture because you see those big cheeks, a tiltling head, and those great socks. Now, I can't get her to sit still for a picture, but We're having a great time all the same.
