Caitlyn's first day revisited

Here is a previously unpublished photo of Caitlyn's first day at school. This was taken in front of our house before we headed off the school.

Flood of 2009

It's been raining here for the past few weeks and it finally got to flood stage yesterday. My normal commute is about an hour and it took me over 5 hours to get home after they close I-575 and I had to detour all around northwest Georgia. The good news is that I was able to head up the street and get this picture of an old mill by our house. That is usually a little creek that runs by, but it was quite the river today.

Flamenco Girls

Back in April, Mommy and Daddy were lucky enough to visit Barcelona. While shopping on Las Ramblas we saw these little flamenco dresses and decided the girls would love them. They put them on last week and had quite a little dance party.

Time for football

It's finally time for college football. Daddy, Caitlyn & Chloe spent the day watching the games, ending with a big 62-3 Gator win. We're all ready for another big year for the Gators!

Jonas Brothers

Caitlyn and Daddy spent saturday night rockin' out to the Jonas Brothers in concert at Philips. We were in row 6 and got a great view of "the boys" I think this is Joe, or maybe Nick, or maybe Kevin...

Fun Run!

Caitlyn enjoyed her first fund raising event by participating in the 2009 Boosterthon Fun Run. She finished with 20 laps and raised $180 for her school. She's running with her friend Grace P below.

Bus 509

Caitlyn finished her first day in school with a ride home on the bus. Of all things, this was the one thing she was most looking forward to and it didn't disappoint. Caitlyn got to sit with her friends Maddie & Grace

and wasted no time getting down to work.

Mommy and Daddy couldn't be more proud of our future Astronaut/Scientist/Artist/Dancer/President/Doctor/Actress or whatever it is she chooses to do in her life. Good luck Sweetie!

Chloe's Grandmothers just couldn't get enough of their littlest girl.

Chloe had her birthday party yesterday afternoon. She had lots of cake and got lots of present from Mimi and Grandma. Here she's enjoying her American Girl Itty Bitty Baby.

Daddy Dance

Saturday night We headed downtown (Woodstock) to catch a Shenandoah concert. Caitlyn was having a great time dancing with her friends but insisted on a Daddy-Daughter dance. Daddy was happy to do it.

Caitlyn and Mommy enjoy some time at the Dollywood Ferris Wheel.

Chloe tees off

Chloe made her own golf game while we were on vacation and she let her own unique style shine through.

The race

Caitlyn and Daddy had a chance to climb into a Go Kart together andpractice our racing skills. Here we are passing on the inside track as the little boy next to us wonders how We're going so fast.

July Fourth in Tennessee

We just returned from our July 4th vacation to Pigeon Forge, TN. We have lots of pictures and video to share. Here is a shot of the obligatory family putt putt game. We managed to keep score for 1 hole before the game changed into a combination bowling, kicking, chase the ball, sweat like crazy, grab everyone's ball, hangout on the green, We've got to get out of here type game.

Grandma's Babies

Grandma was very happy to have her three grandchildren all together last week. This picture makes me laugh because it captures their personalities so well. Austen says "I can wait" Caitlyn says "I'm a princess" and Chloe says "Woohoo...a picture"
