Here's the jeep we rented on our off-road excursion. It was a good thing I remembered how to drive a stick shift after a 20 year hiatus. Notice the girls sleeping in back. You've got to realize this was one bumpy, pothole filled, dirt road we were on for the most part. Yet, they somehow managed to sleep right through it. Good for them!

There's gold in them thar hills!

We headed up to Dahlonega this week and went panning for gold among other things. We actually found a few flakes and the girls couldn't have been more excited. I also found out that the phrase "There's gold in them thar hills!" was uttered by the mayor of Dahlonega as he was trying to persuade the prospectors from leaving Georgia to head out to California.

Chloe's Dance

Chloe joined dance class last month and wanted to Daddy to come watch her. Daddy went to watch and when the camera came out, the dancing stopped and the thumb went into her mouth. She was dancing great before then!

Somebody is growing

Grandma took Caitlyn and Chloe to McDonald's on Wednesday and Caitlyn proceeded to consume 12 Chicken McNuggets. Twelve!!! Oh yeah, she had fries with that. Oh yeah, She also had a vanilla Sunday with Chocolate syrup. A growth spurt must be here

Chloe had her third birthday party yesterday. We set up the water slide and got her the birthday cake that she wanted "Minnie Mouse and Makeup." More pics to come later

She said what?

We were driving in the car the other day and I jokingly asked Chloe if she wanted to drive. She said "No Daddy, I can't because my arms are too short" If only her arms were longer....

The tooth fairy is coming

Caitlyn lost her first two teeth today. Unbelievably, she didn't even notice the first one. We were eating dinner and I noticed a tooth was gone. Caitlyn doesn't remember it happening and we can't find the tooth. The other one required a bit of force from Daddy to get it out of there. Caitlyn couldn't be more thrilled!
